Spring 2023, the 12th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake.
The Corona Era is coming to an end.
The three shrines in the eastern part of Japan (Katori Jingu Shrine, Kashima Jingu Shrine, and Ikisu Shrine) have been located in this area since ancient times, and they have always supported and brightened the hearts of the people.
The first Asahi Arts Festival will be held in the only city in Japan named "Asahi.
I, too, have come to the end of my life, and from here I will begin my "second chapter.
Under the theme of "Mourning, Reconstruction, and the Dawn of Japan," I will paint a large-scale work inspired by the three shrines in the eastern part of the country.

日本に新しい夜明けがやってくる。
東日本大震災から12年の節目となる、2023年春。
コロナ時代も終わりを迎えようとしている。
この地には、古くから東国三社（香取神宮、鹿島神宮、息栖神社）があり、いつの時代も人々の心の支えとなり、明るく照らしてきた。
そんな全国唯一の“あさひ”と名の付く市で、第一回あさひの芸術祭が幕をあける。
私自身もこれまでの人生に一区切りをつけ、ここから“第二章”を始める。
『追悼と復興、日本の夜明け』をテーマに掲げ、東国三社から感じたインスピレーションで作品を大作を描く。
